Strengthening Partnerships, Empowering Farmers! 🌱🤝

Agora Microfinance Zambia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Union for Small-Scale Farmers of Zambia (NUSFAZ).

Through this partnership, we aim to reach around 25,000 small-scale farmers in Mpongwe , Lufwanyama, Chibombo/Chisamba, Kabwe, Kanchibiya with access to loans, leases and other financial services designed around the farming season.

NUSFAZ will mobilise and train farmers and link them to markets. AMZ will provide the financial products and the training farmers need to use them well. Together, we want to help farmers increase their production, grow their incomes and build stronger farming businesses.

As we celebrate 15 years of Breaking the Barriers to Finance, this partnership takes us one step further in creating Value Beyond Transactions for Zambia's farming communities.

Agora Microfinance Zambia is looking for a qualified and experienced Risk Manager to join our team!

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and strengthening our risk management framework, identifying and mitigating organisational risks, and ensuring effective risk management practices across our operations.

Are you the right fit?

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field, full professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA or ZICA, and at least 5 years of experience in data-driven analysis, including 2 years within a financial institution.

A strong understanding of risk management in microfinance, excellent analytical skills and proven leadership abilities are essential.
