Master Your Line. Build Consistency. Improve Your Accuracy!

😅 We've ALL been there… You aim for one line, release your bowl with confidence… and then watch it take a scenic route across the green! 😂🙈

Well, it's time to put your accuracy to the TEST! 💪

🎯 THE CHALLENGE:
🟣 Set up a narrow corridor using cones or markers, approximately 1 metre apart.

🟢 Deliver 6 bowls and try to finish every single one INSIDE the corridor!

🏆 SCORING:
🥇 2 POINTS – Fully inside the corridor.
🥈 1 POINT – Touching the boundary.
❌ 0 POINTS – Outside the corridor.

🔥 MAXIMUM SCORE: 12 POINTS!

Think that's easy? 😏 Just wait until you start narrowing that corridor!

🔥 WHEN MILLIMETRES MATTER… THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE! 🔥

Picture this… 👀

🏆 It's the final end of a championship match.

⚪ The jack is surrounded by bowls.

😱 Both teams are convinced they've got the shot!

📏 The umpire is called… and suddenly, EVERY MILLIMETRE COUNTS!

But here's the BIG QUESTION… 🤔

DO YOU KNOW WHAT MEASURING EQUIPMENT AN UMPIRE MUST HAVE AVAILABLE?

According to Law 54 of the Laws of the Sport of Bowls, the required equipment includes:

📖 A copy of the current Laws of the Sport of Bowls.

📏 A tape measure at least 25 metres long.

🧵 Equipment for longer measurements, such as a string measure.

📐 A flexible measure, such as a box or bullet measure.

🔧 Callipers and feeler gauges.

🔹 Wedges to support leaning bowls.

🎯 Suitable equipment to determine whether a bowl or jack is within the rink's side boundary.

For domestic play, Member National Authorities may approve the types of measuring equipment used by umpires!
