David Edgar joined Personal Trust in 2006 and brings decades of experience and perspective to his role as Trust Officer.

Originally from Pietermaritzburg, Dave grew up on a farm in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands before completing his studies through UNISA and the University of the Free State.

He believes strongly in providing objective, unbiased advice and is passionate about communicating complex financial matters in a way that clients can clearly understand and feel confident about.

Outside of work, Dave enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and has a particular interest in visiting game reserves, birding and fishing. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he also enjoys squash, golf and trail running.
