Empowering young people through impactful education initiatives is at the heart of what we do and our partnership with the South African Actuaries Development Programme (SAADP) plays an important role in achieving this.
Our partnership with SAADP dates back to 2003, when we became the first organisation to recognise and fund the programme. At the time, the profession reflected a significant transformation gap, with only a limited few qualified black actuaries in South Africa.
Today, we proudly celebrate another key milestone, with 23 students from the 2025 cohort graduated from leading universities across South Africa. We are proud to walk this journey with SAADP and remain committed to shaping a more inclusive and representative future for the actuarial profession and the broader financial services industry.
