Last week, I attended the Debt Review Awards with my second-favourite employee (who also happens to be my son Alex Stone). Admin Fairy had other business to tend to. 🤣

Behind one consolidated payment, there is still a payment plan.

So I opened the curtain a little.
I analysed just 17 consecutive cases from roughly one quarter of our own practice. Together, those 17 consumers brought almost R12 million in debt, spread across as many as 19 individual credit obligations per person.
And then I looked at what happened to those accounts once we started restructuring them.
The results surprised even me.
