We want to share important updates regarding wildfire mitigation efforts and what you can do to improve your chances of preventing a wildfire. We are taking proactive steps to help protect your home, property, and community from wildfire risks.

How?
To help reduce these risks, we are working with the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS), a trusted, science-based organization dedicated to home safety. You can learn more about their work at https://st8.fm/43kv1Vn.

Certification:
Colorado homeowners can obtain an IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home Certificate to prove their home has been mitigated to standards and may even receive a discount from the insurance carrier! Even if not required, obtaining this certificate may qualify you for insurance discounts.

Proactive Preparation: We highly recommend that all community members follow the IBHS safety guidelines to protect their property.

Visit the IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home Program website and download the How-To Prepare Your Home Checklist to begin your DIY preparation (available on the IBHS Website).
