Not a bad way to spend a Sunday morning!

Several members of the RiversEdge team headed to Newark this weekend for the 10th annual Deer Park Goes Pink 5K, joining a crowd of roughly 2,300 participants supporting the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.

We got to spend some time together outside, get a little exercise, and help raise money for an organization doing important work. Sounds like a win!

Deer Park Tavern and everyone involved put on a great event. We're glad we could be part of it!

October 3rd marked 25 years since Brian Carney, Partner and Co-Founder, officially received his license and began his career in financial services.

A lot has changed since 2001, but Brian’s commitment to helping people make sense of complex financial decisions has remained a constant.

That commitment eventually led him to co-found RiversEdge Advisors in 2018, with a vision for a transparent, advice-first approach to wealth management. Since then, he’s continued to find new ways to serve clients and help the people around him grow along the way.

And if you know Brian, you know his enthusiasm doesn’t stop at the office. He’s just as invested in his family’s activities as he is in his work, while still making time to mentor young professionals, give back to the Delaware community, and squeeze in a round of golf (or two).

And we couldn’t celebrate 25 years without a little throwback!

Twenty-five years in, and we have a feeling Brian is just getting started. Congratulations, Brian!

We said we couldn't wait to celebrate Erin, and we meant it!

Last month, the RiversEdge team joined Delaware Business Times for its 2026 DBT40 awards celebration, where our very own Erin Eliason, Wealth Advisor & Director, Corporate Retirement, was recognized alongside an impressive group of young professionals making an impact across Delaware.

Erin spends a lot of time helping others succeed, so it was especially fun to see the spotlight on her for a change! And having so many of our teammates there to cheer her on made the evening even better.

Congratulations to Erin and all of this year's DBT40 honorees! And thank you to Delaware Business Times for bringing everyone together to celebrate.

Our own Jarrett Morris, Partner and Co-Founder, is used to helping clients plan for the future, but for one night, he traded financial planning for drink orders as a guest bartender for an event benefiting the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute, helping raise more than $50,000 for the cause.

He spent the evening pouring drinks, catching up with friends, and helping support a great local cause.

Judging by the lineup of glasses in front of him, he stayed busy all night.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support Jarrett and the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center. Cheers!

Jaime Cutter, Client Service Associate, has never been shy about sharing her fear of public speaking or her goal of overcoming it in 2026.

So when Marisa Facciolo connected Jaime with a speaking opportunity through the Oratory Forum, a monthly speaking engagement at the University and Whist Club in Wilmington, Jaime jumped at the chance. And the RiversEdge team jumped right behind her.

She wasn't up there alone, either. Associate Wealth Advisor Mark Eggleston also signed up to speak, giving Jaime a familiar face at the podium. Ten other RiversEdge team members came out that evening just to cheer them both on, too.

That's what we love about our culture. We show up for each other, for the goals we're working toward at RiversEdge and for the challenges and adventures that happen outside of work, too.

The RiversEdge team has been putting their clubs to good use this summer.

We were proud to participate in several charity golf outings supporting incredible organizations and initiatives, including the University of Delaware Hospitality & Sport Management program through Ashby Hospitality Group, DFRC Blue-Gold, and the Caesar Rodney Rotary Club.

Giving back to our community while enjoying a day on the course is a win-win. Thank you to everyone who made these events possible!

Who knew we had so much talent behind the bar?

A few members of our team recently volunteered as guest bartenders at a fundraiser benefiting First State Ballet Theatre, where Marisa Facciolo and Laura Lloyd proudly serve on the board.

It was a wonderful evening giving back to our community while supporting an organization that means so much to our team. Cheers!

Tax Partner, Laura Lloyd, recently gave back in a meaningful way. As a proud Leadership Delaware, Inc. alumna, Laura joined fellow alums, current fellows, Intern Delaware participants, and community partners for the organization's annual State-Wide Volunteer Day, where she spent the afternoon at Friendship House of Delaware. Friendship House is a remarkable organization serving Delawareans through clothing banks, empowerment centers, seasonal programming, financial assistance, and transitional housing. RiversEdge is proud to have team members like Laura who show up for the community beyond the office!
