Who doesn't love a little loose change? For companies coming out of bankruptcy, remnant funds can sometimes be a debatable issue. A recent Wall Street Journal article reports on what some companies are doing with the financial left behind. Should companies in Chapter 11 be able to donate remnant funds or should the Fed tighten up on the Bankruptcy Code?

Charities are increasingly getting the pool of bankruptcy estate money that can materialize years after a company files for Chapter 11 protection to shut down, courtesy of an oversight in the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
