Last night’s event, 'Your Business Is Personal: Building, Protecting & Exiting with Clarity and Confidence,' at FitClub Lounge in Fairfield, CT was a tremendous success.
Strong turnout. Great energy in the room. Most importantly, a thoughtful and engaged conversation around what it actually means to build, protect, and eventually transition a business.
A sincere thank you to Principle Wealth and EG Home for partnering and supporting the event.
Their involvement helped make this more than just another networking event. It became a meaningful discussion for business owners, advisors, and local professionals who care about helping owners make informed decisions.
We also appreciated the opportunity to support The Mid Fairfield Community Care Center and bring attention to the important work they do in the community.
The core message from the evening was simple:
For most business owners, the business is not just an asset.
- It is personal.
- It represents years of risk, sacrifice, identity, family planning, employees, customers, and legacy.
That is exactly why the sale process should never begin at the finish line. It should begin with education, preparation, and honest conversation.
For attorneys, accountants, wealth advisors, consultants, and other professionals working with business owner clients, if you have someone who is curious about the process of selling, even if they are years away, we are always happy to be a resource.
And for business owners directly, if you want to better understand how selling a business works, how value is determined, what buyers look for, or what preparation should happen before going to market, that conversation can start confidentially and without pressure.
Thank you again to everyone who attended, contributed, asked thoughtful questions, and helped make the evening such a success.
