What would happen if you had a covered claim tomorrow? 🤔
Your deductible is the amount you pay out of pocket before your insurance coverage helps pay for a covered loss.
For example, if you have a $500 deductible and an eligible repair costs $2,000, you would pay the first $500 and your policy may cover the remaining $1,500, subject to your coverage limits and policy terms.
Choosing a higher deductible may help lower your premium, but it also means paying more if you file a claim. A lower deductible may mean a higher premium, but less out-of-pocket expense after a covered claim.
The right choice depends on your budget and how comfortable you are taking on unexpected costs. ✅
