Northern State Bank of Virginia recently presented a check to Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency in support of the Quad City, Aurora, and Tower Food Shelves.

As a community bank, Northern State Bank of Virginia continues its strong commitment to understanding and responding to local needs. Supporting organizations that address hunger is one of the many ways the bank works to strengthen and sustain the communities it serves.

AEOA assists the food shelves with accounting and money management. Donations to network food shelves directly help each food shelf pay for food support to the communities they serve. In 2025, the Aurora, Tower, and Quad City Food Shelves served 33,905 individuals, directly assisting 11,398 households with food insecurity.
