Monday was one of our favorite days of the year: CU Kind Day.

While many organizations celebrate the holiday with a day off, NorthRidge chose a day of learning and service.

Our team spent the day exploring the history of the credit union movement, learning about the 12 development issues that impact every community, and discussing how we can be part of the solution.

We wrapped up the day by partnering with United Way of Northeastern Minnesota along with our friends at North Star Credit Union, Virginia Co-Op Credit Union, and Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union to assemble Buddy Backpacks for local students.

Being a credit union has always been about people helping people, and CU Kind Day is a great reminder of why we do what we do.
