🚨 Medicare Advantage Shake-Up for 2027 🚨

Major Medicare Advantage carriers are making big changes for 2027, and some beneficiaries may be forced to choose new coverage.

Here's what we're seeing:βœ… Humana plans affecting approximately 600,000 members are being eliminated. βœ… Molina is exiting certain Medicare Advantage products. βœ… Clear Spring Health has left the Medicare Advantage market. βœ… Regional carriers are reducing service areas and plan offerings. βœ… Millions of Medicare Advantage members have already been impacted by plan terminations in recent years.

If you're enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan, it's more important than ever to review your coverage before Annual Enrollment Period begins.

I break down: βœ” Which carriers are pulling back βœ” Why these changes are happening βœ” The statistics behind the market disruptions βœ” What Medicare beneficiaries should do next

If you have questions about your Medicare options for 2027, feel free to reach out. I'm happy to help you review your coverage and compare plans.

πŸ“’ What Will Medicare Cost in 2027?

While Medicare hasn't released official 2027 costs yet, current projections suggest:

βœ… Part B Premium: Approximately $209.50/month (up from $202.90 in 2026)

βœ… Part B Deductible: Estimated around $300/year

βœ… Part D Deductible: Increasing to $700

βœ… Part D Out-of-Pocket Maximum: Increasing to $2,400

The good news? The projected Part B increase is much smaller than the increase beneficiaries saw from 2025 to 2026.

If you're on Medicare or turning 65 soon, now is a great time to review your coverage and plan ahead for 2027. Click the link below to read all of the details.

🚨 Who's Really Defrauding Medicare? 🚨

While Medicare agents continue to face increasing regulations and scrutiny, recent federal investigations have uncovered billions of dollars in alleged Medicare and Medicaid fraud tied to providers, medical facilities, equipment suppliers, and organized criminal networks, not licensed insurance agents.

In my latest article, I discuss: βœ… The largest healthcare fraud takedowns in U.S. history
βœ… How fraud is impacting Medicare's financial stability
βœ… Why licensed agents are held to some of the strictest compliance standards in the industry
βœ… Why it's time to stop painting all Medicare agents with the same brush

If you're like me, you've probably seen Chapter ads all over your favorite podcasts, YouTube channels, and social media feeds. Their marketing is everywhere, and much of it centers on the idea that traditional Medicare agents can't be trusted and that Chapter is somehow the only truly ethical option.

After looking closer, I think Medicare beneficiaries deserve a more balanced perspective.

The reality is that Chapter is a venture-backed national Medicare brokerage that has raised hundreds of millions of dollars from investors and built a massive marketing machine to fuel its growth.

Meanwhile, there are thousands of local Medicare agents and independent brokers across America who spend their days helping people understand Medicare, reviewing coverage options, answering questions after enrollment, and serving their communities year after year.

Chapter's ads often imply that they alone provide unbiased guidance and review every Medicare plan in the country. Yet even their own disclosures state that they do not offer every plan available in a beneficiary's area, despite maintaining a nationwide plan database.

This isn't about criticizing competition. It's about pushing back against the idea that ethics belong to one company.

The best Medicare advisor isn't determined by who has the biggest podcast sponsorship budget or the most influencer partnerships. It's determined by who takes care of clients, answers the phone when there's a problem, and builds trust over time.

The future of Medicare isn't another call center.

The future of Medicare is local agents, independent brokers, and trusted advisors building real relationships in their communities and helping clients navigate Medicare with personalized service.

Ethical Medicare guidance exists in every town in America. It doesn't belong to one brand.

I break it all down in this Article.

🚨 Medicare Part D Is NOT Ending! 🚨

You've probably seen headlines and social media posts claiming that Medicare Part D is going away. The good news? That's simply not true. Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage is not ending, and beneficiaries are not losing their drug benefits.

What is being discussed is the possible end of a temporary subsidy program that has helped keep some Part D premiums lower over the past two years. If that subsidy ends, some beneficiaries could see premium changes in the future, but Medicare Part D coverage itself is here to stay.

Before believing the rumors, get the facts.
