We are a full-service independent insurance agency, located in Utica, MI, specializing in employee benefits, and we are looking for a motivated professional to join our Employee Benefits Servicing Team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the service side of employee benefits and takes pride in helping clients resolve issues accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities
• Answer phones and support employer groups
• Assist with medical, dental, and vision claims
• Manage late notices and carrier communications
• Cross-check carrier invoices to confirm enrollments and terminations
• Run reports and update internal systems
• Assist with plan renewals and prepare group open enrollment kits

What We’re Looking For
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, and organized
• Comfortable asking questions and taking initiative
• Professional communication skills
• Preferred familiarity with Employee Navigator, AgencyBloc, or Zywave

🎉 Meet Our Office Manager – Beth! 🎉

We’re excited to officially introduce Beth, our Office Manager here at John J. Boyd and Associates! Beth has been a valued member of our team since June of 2019, and her passion for problem-solving and helping people shines through in everything she does.

A graduate of Oakland University with a degree in Human Resources, Beth plays a key role in keeping our office running smoothly. From supporting our team and maintaining compliance to helping clients better understand their policies, she helps ensure we continue delivering the high level of service our clients expect. As Office Manager, Beth keeps the day-to-day operations organized, supports our staff, and is often the behind-the-scenes force making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Outside the office, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband of 30+ years and their four daughters. She loves reading, taking water aerobics and other gym classes, being with family and friends—and she’s a big animal lover, too! 🐾
