On Saturday, October 8th, there is a Memorial BBQ with the proceeds going to the family of fallen Detroit Police Department officer Loren Courts.

The event will be at The Berkley American Legion opening the doors at noon.

Officer Courts tragically lost his life while on duty after being ambushed on a call for service earlier this year.
