Had the privilege of attending today’s Troy Chamber of Commerce Women’s Forum at Entech Staffing Solutions.

As one of only a handful of men in attendance, I want to give a shoutout to the guys who showed up today and stand in solidarity with the women in our community. It’s important that we listen, learn, and support each other.

A big thank you to the team at Entech for sponsoring and hosting events like this and to the Troy Chamber for continuing to create opportunities for meaningful collaboration.

Located on Big beaver in Troy, Bruster’s has some amazing flavors and farm to table fresh ingredients. They even served us several delicious samples.

I’m reaching out to ask for a favor and to make people aware of something that may impact many Michigan credit unions.

The leading 401(k) provider serving credit unions, recently experienced a major cybersecurity incident. As a result, their retirement systems have been unavailable for nearly two weeks, leaving many employees unable to access their retirement accounts. A lawsuit has already been filed, and additional legal action may follow.

If you have a connection with a local credit union, especially someone in HR, Finance, Executive Leadership, or who oversees employee benefits, I would greatly appreciate an introduction.

Even if a credit union isn’t ready to make a change, this is an important time to review its retirement plan, understand the available options, and ensure employees are receiving the level of service and security they deserve.

If you know someone at a Michigan credit union who would benefit from that conversation, I’d truly appreciate an introduction. Thank you for your support.
