OK FACEBOOK FAMILY....
I want to share with you something that I have been working on for a long time. I don't know if many of you remember the weekly "Widget's of Wisdom" I used to send out. Well, I have decided to make them into a book. I hope to have it completed by the end of September and available for purchase by October.

I wanted to share one of the "Widgets" with you. I would GREATLY appreciate your HONEST feedback as this will give me a "pulse" on whether or not I'm on the right track.

I remember when I was growing up and I didn’t want to eat my Brussels sprouts at dinner, my parents would always say something like, “you know there are children starving in (fill in your own country) that would die to eat those Brussels Sprouts. One time I suggested that they wrap the Sprouts up and send them to the kids in that country. I never knew what hit me and I woke up several days later in my bed unable to sit down for a week.

As I aged (according to close friends I have yet to mature), I realized that what my parents were trying to tell me is that we are fortunate here in this great land of ours. We have an abundance of everything and we all know that there are countries that don’t even come close to our good fortunes here.

The one natural resource we have an overwhelming abundance of in this country is FREEDOM. It is the foundation on which our country was established, it is the principle that so many men and woman have given their lives for over the past 200+ years. Yet, like the young kid I once was, we all sometimes forget how lucky we are to have it and therefore misuse or abuse it.

As Americans, we can do anything we want within the laws of the land. Every morning when the sun rises, a new batch of Freedom waits for us at the foot of our bed. What we do with that gift? Well, that seems to be the point of the whole story here. If you are in business, you HAVE the freedom to create and /or refine systems that will take you to higher levels of success. If you are a student, you HAVE the freedom to push yourself beyond levels you never before imagined.

Every single, solitary day, we have the FREEDOM to be better at what we do, who we are and how we react and treat others. Let’s all put it upon ourselves to let Freedom ring louder than ever before. Let it embed in our heads and ring true throughout the balance of this day and beyond.

If you choose not to, remember, there is a kid in (fill in your own country) that would die for the Freedom you choose not to use. And NO!!!...you can’t wrap it up and send it to them.
