Operation Helping Heroes is officially over for another year… and what a year it was!!!

This year was a **HUGE SUCCESS**, and we are so incredibly thankful to everyone who came out and spent time with us yesterday.

To our First Responders and their families ~ **THANK YOU.**
This entire event is our small way of recognizing you, appreciating you and saying thank you for the sacrifices your entire family makes.

To our COUNTRY Financial clients ~ thank you for coming out and being part of one of our absolute favorite traditions!

And a HUGE thank you to everyone who showed up today to help us tackle the leftovers and get everything picked up.

So many people help make this event happen ~ from setup to cleanup and everything in between ~ and we simply couldn't do it without you.

We're tired.
I KNOW we are going to be finding straw for a while.
Definitely feeling incredibly grateful.

We are a first responder family ourselves. Chris has served Yakima County Fire District #5 for over 27 years, and my dad, brother and uncle are/were all in law enforcement.

So we know firsthand that when someone chooses a life of service, **their family makes sacrifices too.**

They live with the missed dinners, interrupted holidays, late-night calls, changed plans and the worry that comes with loving someone whose job is to run toward the things everyone else is running away from.

Sometimes the family behind the First Responder gets overlooked.
