Psalm 30: 16-19
6 things the Lord hates- ( yes hate is available to us ) no, 7 things He, God detests.
Haughty Eyes - Pride, Arrogance, Conceit, person who puts themselves above others and the worst -above God
Lying Tongue -speech or communication that deliberately uses falsehood, deceit or misleading statements to trick harm or manipulate others.
Hands that kill others - murder, revenge that takes another life through direct or indirect participation, and yes abortion (Jeremiah 1:5- pretty clear when human existence starts) and even hate in your heart wishing death of another. WOW this one takes in 1/2 of America in today’s extreme violent actions.
Heart that plots evil- feelings that would cause us to want to plan and or participate or enjoy evil toward another human.
Feet that Race to do wrong -people who do not hesitate to do wrong in life including doing wrong to others.
False Witness - spreading false statements like gossip (wow that’s an ouch ) spreading rumors,slander and making false statements that have no proof that ruin a persons life or community standing. That’s includes hearsay and being to eager to share it (just between me and you is still rumors)
Person who sows discord in a family- ( OUCH) spreading rumors,playing favorites, twisting words, I will add picking at someone’s words attempting to discredit or find fault with an individual, creating factions all for the purpose of destroying or belittling another person usually for the sole purpose of elevating themselves.
“Search me oh God and know my heart, test me and know my thoughts ! If there be any wicked evil way in me, (forgive me) and lead me in the way everlasting”
Psalm 139: 23/24
Not sure why I am sharing this one, but we are starting a new week.
Jesus help me to correct any of these in my life and give me the opportunity to make right on any wrong I may have done to anyone.
Allow me be a light for you and not a detriment to sharing Your complete truth in my life so others will see Your love and accept Your grace.
