Hi Neighbors! When buying health insurance, INSIST on being provided the FULL brochure and SBC that breaks down your benefits, deductible, etc. If an agent won't provide this, RUN! If they are telling you that you have a $0 Deductible, don't walk, RUN!! It's basic indemnity insurance which is garbage and will bankrupt you. These agents are all over Spring and The Woodlands peddling this garbage. They drop the name of a major company to lure you in. Zoom calls and screen sharing are suspect as well as they use this to show you "highlights" to avoid sending you the actual documents you want and need to make a decision. Plug in their name and click "Appointments". If they're appointed with 2 or less companies, they're likely "captive" agents. These people are not brokers and usually have had their license for 1-6 months. Brokers are experienced and shop multiple companies for you, for which the captives cannot. Most of the captive's plans are not true Major Medical. Be careful as there's a lot of junk plans out there and these guys are the ones typically pushing them. If you'd like to work with an experienced local broker of 23 years, contact AGH Financial Group They will shop multiple plans for you and ensure you're being offered the very best plans available. 281-766-7684
