One of the biggest misconceptions about this industry
Is that what we do is about loans.

It's not.

It's about people.

Every file has a story attached to it.

A family trying to move before the school year starts. A first-time buyer wondering if they're making the right decision. A couple trying to build wealth for their future. An investor making a move that could change their financial trajectory.

That's why some days it's hard to completely shut it off.

Not because I don't believe in boundaries. I do.
And I've worked hard to establish a healthy work life balance.
But when you've spent weeks or months helping someone work toward a goal that means everything to them, it's hard not to think about how to solve the next challenge, remove the next obstacle, or create the next opportunity.

The truth is, most of the work happens long before closing day.

And while you'll never see most of those conversations, strategies, or late-night problem-solving sessions, they're often the reason a client gets to hold the keys in the first place.

To my friends and family, thank you for giving me grace when my mind occasionally drifts back to a file.

I promise it's never because I'm not present.

It's because somewhere, someone is trusting me with one of the biggest decisions of their life.

We've solved this problem

My amazing team has spent months building systems, automations, and workflows designed to keep agents informed throughout the entire loan process.

Because great communication shouldn't depend on someone remembering to send a text.

Agents deserve to know where things stand. Clients deserve clear expectations. And transactions move more smoothly when everyone has the information they need before they have to ask for it.

For me, communication isn't an afterthought—it's part of the experience.

The goal has always been simple: create a process that keeps agents in the loop, reduces unnecessary follow-up, and helps transactions move forward with confidence.

Because when the right systems are in place, everyone wins.

Agents, what's the one update you wish lenders communicated more consistently?

Halfway through the year is a great time to ask a simple question:

Am I busy... or am I productive?

As entrepreneurs, it's easy to convince ourselves that more is the answer.

More content.
More networking.
More tools.
More ideas.

But sometimes the biggest growth comes from identifying what's already working and giving it more attention.

That's exactly what inspired this month's Homegirl Hub newsletter.

Inside, we're talking about:
✔️ How to audit your business before adding more to your plate
✔️ The biggest real estate headline impacting condo buyers and sellers right now
✔️ A Mid-Year Business Audit to help you refocus for the second half of the year

The goal isn't to do more.

The goal is to do more of what works.

What's one thing in your business you're doubling down on for the rest of the year?

Drop it below. 👇

Not a networking event.

Just good coffee, honest stories, and the kind of room women actually need.

Jenny and I are hosting a come-as-you-are Coffee & Convos centered around the idea that:
the room you’re in matters.

The conversations.
The pressure.
The environments we keep sitting in without realizing how much they’re shaping us.

We'll be sharing personal stories around boundaries, burnout, identity shifts, and learning to protect your peace without guilt, while opening the floor for real conversation with other women too.

No pressure to perform.
No need to have it all together.
Yoga pants? Absolutely.

Comment “Coffee” and I’ll send you the link.

What finally changed my business was realizing
I could not keep building everything off memory, hustle, and survival mode.

I needed structure.
I needed systems.
I needed support.

And honestly, I think a lot of entrepreneurs are there right now.

You care deeply about your business, but behind the scenes you’re trying to manage content, follow-up, communication, organization, and consistency all at once.

That’s why I became so passionate about AI and systems.

Not to sound robotic. 😉
But to create more space to lead, create, and breathe again.

At this event, I’m sharing the real ways I use AI every week to save time, simplify marketing, communicate better, and stop operating in constant reaction mode.

If you’ve been curious about AI but overwhelmed by where to start, this class is for you.

I don’t just finance short-term rentals. I own one.

And I’ve helped clients structure them properly.

STRs can be powerful wealth-building tools.

They can also be expensive mistakes.

The difference is strategy.

Before you write an offer, make sure you’re not skipping the basics.

Comment “STR” and I’ll send you the full Short-Term Rental Buyer Guide.

Customize it with your branding and use as a lead capture or educational material for your investor clients.

WE ARE LIVE!!!

Before she was a broker owner, she was a little girl who just wanted to make people feel beautiful.

That desire never left. It just found a bigger room.
Brittany, broker owner of Continental Quality Realty, sat down with me for Behind Closed Deals and gave us everything. Her story before real estate. What it means to lead people who actually trust you. And the moment obedience changed the whole trajectory.

This is year one for her and the sky is the limit.
New episode is live — link in bio. 🎬
