Knights of Columbus Joseph Spinelli III

The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 by Venerable Father Michael J. McGivney. The Knights of Columbus started as a "pass the hat" organization.

The primary mission was (and still is) to protect families from the financial ruin caused by the death of the breadwinner. When a member passed away Fr McGivney and the concerned men of the parish would literally pass a hat around and give the collection to the widow. This basic cause is still what the Knights' are all about. "We take care of your family when you can't." The tools that we use has
