Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate the rich histories, traditions, and cultures that continue to shape our communities. As we recognize Hispanic Heritage Month and look ahead to Día de los Mu***os, we’re reflecting on the strength that comes from coming together, honoring our diverse backgrounds, and celebrating the people and traditions that connect us.

From October 27 through November 2, O Bee branches will display Ofrendas, traditional altars created to honor and remember loved ones who have passed. Community Members are invited to contribute up to three photos of a loved one or beloved pet to be included in an Ofrenda.

🚨 Scam of the Week: Don’t Bank on This Email

Got an urgent email from your credit union saying your account will be restricted unless you verify your information? Even if it has your credit union’s logo and looks legit, don’t click that link.

Scammers are using convincing phishing emails to trick you into downloading malware that can give them remote access to your device—and potentially your personal and financial information.

Protect yourself:
• Verify account alerts by logging in directly through your credit union’s official app or website.
• Never use links in unexpected emails to access your account.
• If you’re unsure, contact your financial institution using the phone number on the back of your debit or credit card.
• Most importantly, pause before you click. Scammers want you to panic and act fast.

When in doubt, stop and verify. Your future self will thank you.
