On Tuesday, November 3, we're hosting a FREE Budget 101 & Credit 101 class to help you better understand your finances and feel confident making decisions that work for your life.

We'll explore ways to manage everyday expenses, create a realistic budget, and understand how credit scores work. There will also be time for questions and open discussions in a smaller-group setting, so you can learn at your own pace.

A few minutes out of your day could help someone through one of the most important moments of theirs. ❤️

TAPCO is partnering with the Tacoma Fire Department and Bloodworks Northwest to host upcoming blood drives at our Main Branch, giving our community another opportunity to show up for patients who rely on blood donations every day.

Our next drive is Wednesday, October 28, with additional dates on November 25 and December 30.

Appointments are required for the best donation experience, and same-day appointments may be available. Please bring photo ID, eat a hearty meal before donating and drink plenty of fluids. For safety, visitors under 16 are not permitted at the donation site.

Five credit unions teamed up for International Credit Union Day, and let's just say... this team understood the assignment! 💙

Last Thursday, TAPCO joined BECU, O Bee Credit Union, Sound Credit Union, and Gesa Credit Union to celebrate International Credit Union Day by giving back to our community and bringing the people helping people philosophy to life!

And we made sure the celebration came with some real community impact!

💙 Together, we supported Tacoma Public Schools by contributing over $15,300 to help provide snacks for after-school programs, radios for Beyond the Bell programs, and assistance with graduation-related expenses. Because the last thing students need is another hurdle on their way to graduation!

🌱 Our volunteers traded their keyboards for gardening tools to help Parks Tacoma with weeding, pruning, and mulching garden beds.

🎃 Another group helped Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound prepare decorations for their annual Halloween festival. A little behind-the-scenes magic for local kids!

The best part? We may have different names on our buildings, but when it comes to supporting our communities, we're all on the same team. 😉

A big thank-you to our fellow credit unions and community partners for making this day possible. Here's to keeping that cooperative spirit going all year long!
