This week, we had William Hicks with TWIA Insurance (Taylor Wreden Insurance Agency) as our Featured Speaker. William shared how his locally owned, independent agency helps businesses find the right commercial insurance coverage while keeping costs in check.

As a broker with access to 40+ insurance carriers and a dedicated account manager, TWIA can shop multiple options to help businesses reduce costs and eliminate coverage gaps. William shared that he has helped some businesses save 35–45% on their insurance costs.

And one thing that stood out: if you're already in a good spot with your current coverage and pricing, William will tell you. His goal is to make sure businesses have the right coverage at the right price—not to sell insurance just for the sake of making a sale.

Christine O’Neal had her first TWIA BNI presentation today and her son, Brycen came to see what the fuss was all about. He works for one of the companies in her BNI chapter and they are thinking of putting him in a group. When the bucket was passed around, he said "Great presentation mom, I enjoy all the 1:1's we have and thank you for being my insurance agent".

We love a good sense of humor that’s simultaneously melting our hearts!

Last week, our Commercial Lines team was invited to visit with senior leaders from Berkley Southeast. This was a great opportunity to celebrate the success we’ve achieved together and discuss how we can continue to grow and strengthen our relationship moving forward. It’s developed partnerships like these that give us solid options for our clients!
