Heads up: Hackers just moved into Microsoft Teams

Phishing isn’t just email anymore. Attackers are now using Teams—posing as IT, clients, or trusted contacts—to get you to click links, download files, or grant access.

Watch for:

Unexpected “IT” messages
Urgent requests (reset, install, verify)
Random files or links
MFA or remote access you didn’t request

If it feels off:
Stop. Don’t click. Contact IT directly. Change your password.

Bottom line:
Just because it’s in Teams doesn’t mean it’s safe.
