The marital home shouldn’t be looked at as an isolated asset during divorce.
Wanting to keep the home, being awarded the home, and actually being able to qualify for and sustain the financing are three very different questions.
The same principle applies to the real estate side. Having an experienced professional who understands the unique dynamics of divorce can help identify potential issues before they become problems.
