💡 Most people with a car loan have never heard of a "principal-only payment." One of the easiest ways to save 👆

Check your loan papers for a prepayment penalty first. Then use the word "principal" every time you pay extra, or a lot of lenders will treat it as next month's payment 🤷

🚗 Where does transportation go in a 50/30/20 budget?

It's a bigger chunk than people expect, because it isn't only the car payment. Insurance, gas ⛽, oil changes, the maintenance. All of that is transportation, and all of it sits inside the 50%.
