Stay Hydrated This Summer!
As temperatures rise, it's important to stay hydrated. Becoming overheated or dehydrated can lead to serious health issues, including heat exhaustion, heat stroke, and in severe cases, death.
Keep in mind that sometimes water alone isn't enough. When you sweat, your body loses essential electrolytes, including magnesium, calcium, sodium, and potassium. These minerals help regulate muscle function, nerve signals, hydration, and overall body balance.
If you're spending extended time outdoors, exercising, or working in the heat, consider replenishing lost electrolytes with sports drinks, electrolyte packets, coconut water, or other electrolyte-rich beverages.
Stay cool, stay hydrated, and stay safe this summer!
