When you paste one, you signal to scammers that you're trusting and easy to target. Fraudsters search for these exact text strings to find accounts to hit with phishing or cloning attacks.

National Lighthouse Day honors the beacon of light that for hundreds of years symbolized safety and security for ships and boats at sea. A Lighthouse serves multiple purposes; marking dangerous coastlines, hazardous shoals, and reefs providing safe entry to harbors. They also provide aerial guidance.
The number of Lighthouses are declining because of expense and modern technology.

Happy Birthday to the United States Coast Guard!
Did you know the U.S. Coast Guard is one of the oldest federal organizations? It was established on August 4, 1790, when President George Washington signed the law creating the nation's first revenue cutters to protect our country's trade and stop smuggling.
Today, the Coast Guard continues its proud tradition of service by saving lives, protecting our waterways and environment, enforcing maritime laws, and defending our homeland. Whether responding to emergencies at sea or keeping our ports safe, their mission never stops.
Today, we honor the brave men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard—past and present—for their dedication, courage, and commitment to serving our nation.
