If you would’ve told me a year ago that I’d be making a career change and starting a whole new chapter, I probably would’ve laughed. 😂

But here we are… I’m officially no longer at Aflac I’ve joined the State Farm family! ❤️

Sometimes a career change isn’t about starting over. It’s about recognizing when it’s time to grow, take a new direction, and bet on yourself.
I’m incredibly excited for this next chapter, the people I’ll meet, the relationships I’ll build, and everything that’s ahead. 🥰

Growing up I thought I was invincible, becoming an adult and parent changed that point of view. Now I have a life policy to ensure when something happens to me, my family can afford to bury/cremate me, pay off bills and not be in debt. It may not be a lot but it buys my family some time.

I was recently gifted the book , The Coffee Bean, and what left such a lasting impression on me is that we can’t always control our surroundings, but we can control how we show up in them. Just like a coffee bean changes the water around it, we have the power to transform our environment with our attitude, our kindness, and our faith.

Be the one who encourages when others are discouraged.
The one who brings light and peace into the room.
The one who makes others want to show up because your presence makes things better.

Bells have long represented important transitions and, in many cases, freedom. For cancer patients, it's no different — the bell is a beacon of hope that echoes a sound of victory. For patients at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, it also marks the start of a new chapter to be filled with more time to simply be a kid.
