Let me be clear: I want everyone to win.

I'm not running on scarcity — I want other people in business to do well.

I want other churches besides mine to thrive.

I want other men to build families as strong as mine.

None of that costs me anything.

💡Notice the "Think Big" on the wall? I ordered that off of Amazon. In today's competitive world, you have to think bigger... if you aren't scaling your business, you are going to get left behind..

I know this rubs some folks the wrong way.. but it's true. The Amazon decor is one simple reminder for me to look at each day.

A lesson on sales from my 15-year-old

My family and I just got back from vacation in Jamaica. On the flight there, something happened that's stuck with me.

When the flight attendant asked "cookies or pretzels?" — I always assumed that meant pick one.

My 15-year-old asked for both. The flight attendant smiled and handed them over, no problem.

I turned to him, stunned. "I never knew you could get both!"

He just shrugged. "Worst case, they say no."

From that flight on, all my kids asked for both — and every single time, the flight attendant said yes. (Thanks, 😄)

Here's the point: a lot of us have gotten out of the habit of simply asking. Sales 101 — just ask. What's the worst that happens? They say no. And you're right back where you started.
