Springfield Promise Program Springfield Promise Program provides college financial aid advising to Springfield Public and Charter School students.

Advisors assist with FAFSA completion, scholarships, award letter comparisons, + summer plans after graduation! Springfield Promise Program's Financial Aid Advisors are dedicated to helping ALL SPS and Charter School seniors + their families navigate the college financial aid process, including FAFSA completion, scholarships, award letter appeals and comparisons, and support over the summer after

graduation. Our goal is for all students who wish to attend college or earn a post-secondary credential have the support and guidance needed to do so. Advisors are available to meet with all students in grades 9-12 as they prepare to make plans for life after high school.

Our Story

The Springfield Promise Program was founded to support students in Springfield to obtain a post-secondary degree. In support of this mission, the program provides individualized college financial aid advising and a Last Dollar Scholarship to students and families of Springfield Public Schools and the City’s Charter Schools. In addition to individualized support, the program provides early college awareness programming to students in grades 9-11.

Students receive help with: FAFSA + CSS Profile, Verification, Award Letter Review, MPN + Entrance Counseling, Scholarship Applications, College Fit, Summer Support, and Early College Awareness. Advisors are available year round to support students in their post-secondary pursuits. Most importantly, we are still here to support students and families after graduation. Please reach out to your High School’s Financial Aid Advisor for more information.
