What do you do and who do you help?
I help individuals, families, and small business owners find health insurance that actually fits their life. Most of my clients are generally healthy and want coverage that protects them from major, unexpected medical events without overpaying for benefits theyโll likely never use. Many are also higher-income earners who donโt qualify for ACA subsidies and feel frustrated by high premiums, limited networks, or confusing plan choices. I focus on options that provide real protection, nationwide PPO access, and flexibility.
What inspired you to start your
business or choose your industry?
I got into health insurance after personally losing coverage during major life changes and realizing how overwhelming and confusing the process can be when youโre on your own. I experienced being laid off, facing unaffordable COBRA options, and working for a small business where the insurance premium cost more than my mortgage. Seeing firsthand how one wrong plan choice can create serious financial stress, I knew I wanted to be the person who helps others avoid that situation and feel confident in coverage that truly fits their life.
What is a question clients should ask before choosing someone in your field?
โDoes this plan have a true maximum out-of-pocket, or does it cap benefits?โ
Many people donโt realize thereโs a big difference between plans that limit what you pay and plans that limit what the insurance pays. A true maximum out-of-pocket creates a financial safety net by legally capping your exposure in a worst-case scenario. Once you hit that limit, covered medical expenses are paid at 100%. That predictability and protection is critical, especially during unexpected health events. Clients should work with someone who understands this difference and prioritizes long-term financial protection, not just the monthly premium.
What sets your business apart from everyone else?
I do the shopping, comparing, and explaining so my clients donโt have to. I look beyond at the marketplace and beyond to customize coverage based on how someone actually uses insurance, focusing on protection from large medical bills without overpaying for things they donโt need. Having personally navigated major life and career changes that impacted my own coverage, I understand how overwhelming these decisions can be. My goal is to build long-term relationships and be a trusted resource.
