The team from Spring Valley City Bank had an awesome time golfing yesterday in the annual Illinois Valley Building and Construction Trades Council golf outing which raised a whopping $26,000 for United Way of Illinois Valley!! SCAM ALERT!! Someone is calling area businesses claiming to be Spring Valley City Bank. The individual is “spoofing” our name and number so that your caller id looks like it’s a legitimate call. Do NOT ever give out account information unless you are 100% sure it is the Bank. When in doubt, hang up and call the Bank back directly. As always, keep your guard up for individuals trying to obtain confidential information.
