Weather this weekend is looking decent. Take time to get your home ready for the upcoming summer. Some tips below:)

US New and World Reports has the following suggestions for maintaining your home while you spend time outside in the sunshine:

Clean out the gutters.

Trim back trees or branches hanging too close to your home.

Clear moss from your roofs and siding.

Address visible wear and tear, such as chipped paint, rotting wood, damaged siding or broken fencing and railings.

Check for loose stairs or treads.

Remove debris from the yard.

Check your smoke detectors and any other protective devices are in working order.
