✨ Employee Spotlight: Ashley Petty ✨

Meet Ashley Petty, our Director of Broker Relations at Health First. Ashley has been with Health First since July 2025, and she plays an important role in helping our brokers and team feel supported, valued, and connected.

Ashley brings a unique and well-rounded professional background to her role. She spent nearly 10 years in the coffee industry, growing from barista to manager and later working as a professional barista trainer. She also has experience in finance through loan origination and debt collection, as well as experience at SLCC in the Office of Admissions, where she supported enrollment and helped create training materials. Her background in customer service, training, and relationship-building gives her a thoughtful and people-first approach to her work.

What Ashley loves most about her job is the atmosphere and the people. She enjoys finding ways to support those around her, and the Health First team makes it easy for her to show up each day with care, excitement, and purpose.

Outside of work, she loves photography, spending time with her animals and family, going on long drives and adventures, cooking and baking, and getting creative with crafty projects.

We’re grateful for Ashley’s kindness, creativity, and the genuine care she brings to Health First. 💚

✨ Employee Spotlight: Rene Rodriguez ✨

Meet Rene Rodriguez, our Director of Recruiting at Health First. Rene has been with Health First for almost two years, and he plays an important role in helping grow our broker network and support agents across multiple states.

Rene brings a strong background in sales, customer service, relationship building, recruiting, and marketing to his role. He holds an associate’s degree from Universal Technical Institute and is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Business from Texas Tech University. He also served eight years in the Army and is bilingual in Spanish, allowing him to connect with and support a broader community of brokers and clients.

What Rene loves most about his job is building relationships and helping brokers succeed. Whether he’s recruiting new agents, supporting existing partners, or creating marketing content, he enjoys being part of something that helps people grow their business. He also values the supportive and collaborative team at Health First and the shared focus on doing what’s best for brokers.

Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family, especially supporting his kids in their sports. His son plays baseball and his daughter is involved in golf, so much of his free time is spent at practices and games. He also enjoys being outdoors, working on his Jeeps, off-roading, traveling with his family, and trying new whiskeys.

We’re grateful for Rene’s dedication, relationship-focused approach, and the support he brings to our brokers and team. 💚

With 12 years of professional experience in the industry, Isaac brings deep knowledge and creativity to his role. He holds an A.A.S. in Digital Communication Technology from Utah Valley University, along with both an A.A.S. and B.S. in Web Design and Development with an emphasis in web and app development. His strong technical background and experience make him a valuable part of the Health First team.

Isaac is known for his unique perspective, creativity, and thoughtful approach to his work. Outside of work, he enjoys drawing, writing, reading comics, playing video games, and pondering the universe and existence itself.

With a background as a Computer Systems Engineer, Mario brings a mix of deep technical skill and real-world practicality. What he loves most about his job is creating tools that improve our users’ daily workflow, make their jobs easier and more efficient, and help them succeed.

He truly values the people he works with and loves being part of a team that supports each other, learns together, and pushes toward shared goals.
