That means CRNAs can now take advantage of financing designed specifically for medical professionals, including:

🏡 No down payment on eligible purchase loans
💰 No PMI
🔑 Construction-to-Permanent financing available with just 5% down
📅 Ability to close prior to an employment start date

CRNAs join Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, along with M.D.s, D.O.s, D.D.S.s, D.M.D.s and D.V.M.s, as eligible medical professionals.

Mortgage Myth: “The Fed changed rates, so mortgage rates changed too.”

Mortgage rates are not directly tied to the Federal Reserve’s Fed Funds Rate. While Fed decisions can influence financial markets, mortgage rates are driven more by the bond market, inflation expectations, and the outlook for the economy. Mortgage rates tend to move more closely with the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield, although they don’t move in perfect lockstep. That’s why mortgage rates can move before the Fed takes action—or even move in the opposite direction afterward.
