• Secure patio furniture, garbage cans, umbrellas, and other outdoor items.
• Keep vehicles away from trees and large branches when possible.
• Be prepared for possible downed limbs and power outages.
• Never approach a downed power line—always assume it is live.
• Use extra caution while driving, especially in exposed areas and around larger vehicles.
