Had a wonderful reminder this morning that small interactions can make your day!

I heard the food waste truck rumbling down the street and immediately realized I’d forgotten to put our container out. 🤦‍♂️

I hurried outside, and thankfully, the driver was kind enough to wait for me. We ended up having a fun little chat before he had to drive off.

Who doesn't love a nice interaction with someone going about their day and doing their job? That guy really embodies how a little kindness goes a long way. 😊

This morning was a perfect Seattle fall morning, in my opinion. The crisp, dry air was perfect dog walking weather!

Along the way, my mind wandered from Emily & my own finances ... to the unique homes around the neighborhood, the families who live in them, and how the changing insurance landscape might be affecting each one.

Apparently, this is where my brain goes on a relaxing morning walk. 😂 I guess it’s a good sign when your profession lines up with the things you naturally find interesting.

And yes, you’re only getting a picture of this awesome pup... It was 6am, and since I'm a bit overdue for a haircut, I was definitely not camera ready. 🐕🍂
