What a great afternoon with the Arizona Mortgage Lenders Association (AMLA)! 🏡

Today Dirk Swift and I attended AMLA's Happy Hour it was a wonderful opportunity to meet some incredible new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and continue building relationships across our mortgage community.

One of the things I love about this industry is how so many of us move within the same circles, sometimes at different points in our careers and on completely different timelines- and somehow, our paths have a way of crossing again.

That’s what this is all about: relationships, community, and finding ways to support one another along the way.

What a great evening with NAPMW Phoenix! 🏡❤️

Arizona Industrial Development Authority – Arizona IDA was proud to participate in this month’s event, where our Executive Director, Dirk Swift, shared “Making the First Step Easier” and the work we’re doing to help expand access to homeownership across Arizona.

For me, one of the best parts of these events is always the people. It was wonderful meeting so many new industry professionals, building new relationships, and getting to know the NAPMW Phoenix community.

A special thank you to Juli, Sarah, and the NAPMW Phoenix team for such a warm welcome. We’re already looking forward to continuing the relationship and supporting another upcoming event in October!

We are proud to have Arizona IDA participating in the upcoming NAPMW Phoenix August Social & Educational Event, and even more excited that our Executive Director, Dirk Swift, will be the featured speaker!

🎤 Topic: “Making the First Step Easier”

Dirk brings decades of experience in mortgage banking, housing programs, and public service. Before joining Arizona IDA, he spent six years with the Arizona Department of Housing, where he helped launch the Hardest-Hit Fund initiative and expand Arizona’s down payment assistance efforts. Prior to public service, Dirk built a successful 25-year career in mortgage banking, leading teams across production and operations.

Today, as Executive Director of Arizona IDA, he continues that work by helping expand access to affordable homeownership and down payment assistance opportunities throughout Arizona.
