Arizona business owners, it’s almost TPT renewal season.

October marks the start of Transaction Privilege Tax license renewals, and the Arizona Department of Revenue will begin sending renewal notices to business owners.

A few important reminders:

✅ TPT licenses must be renewed by January 1
✅ Renewals received after January 31 may face penalties
✅ Businesses with multiple locations are required to renew electronically
✅ Update your mailing address, locations, jurisdictions, business codes, and owner/officer information before renewing
✅ If your business or a specific location has closed, make sure the license or location is properly canceled

Important note: Licenses that are not renewed may automatically renew and be charged standard renewal fees, and ADOR may assess a penalty for late renewal.

Keeping your TPT account updated helps you avoid unnecessary fees, penalties, and compliance issues.

Feeling exhausted doesn’t mean you’ve lost your ambition.

It means you need realignment. Rest. Restoration.

For a long time, I read tiredness as a signal to PUSH HARDER. This past year taught me something different: exhaustion is information. It’s my body asking me to pause, listen, and choose again.

Now, when anxiety creeps in, I build in restorative moments on purpose. Not as a reward for finishing the work, but as part of how I lead.

Because leadership isn’t about how much you can carry. It’s about knowing where your energy creates the most impact and the most joy, and choosing to direct it there.

Rest isn’t retreat. It’s how we move forward with clarity.

So if you’re running on empty, here’s your permission to stop and ask:
What do I actually need right now?
And what fills me up?

Sometimes the most powerful move a leader can make is hitting reset. 😊

This morning, I did exactly that. I paused, came back to my gratitude, and spoke my affirmations out loud. Not because everything was falling apart (it definitely FELT like that!), but because I know where my focus goes, my energy flows.

Here’s what I’ve learned in business and in life: when I focus on what I want, I get it. And I choose it with ease.
