As a first-time homebuyer, I knew there would be things I needed to learn, questions I would have, and moments when the process might feel overwhelming. What I didn't know was just how fortunate I would be to work with such an exceptional group of women who would make sure I felt educated, encouraged, valued, and supported every step of the way.
The dedication, professionalism, compassion, and genuine joy these ladies brought to my homebuying journey were truly unmated. I could not have asked for a better team to advocate for me and help me navigate one of the most important financial decisions of my life. Even when we encountered hiccups along the way, their commitment never wavered. They remained patient, determined, reassuring, and focused on helping me reach the finish line.
One of the most meaningful moments of this entire experience was my closing day. I cannot begin to describe how much it meant to me that members of my NAF team took the time to come to the law office to celebrate this milestone with me. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made an already unforgettable day even more special.
I especially want to recognize Mrs. Lisa Royal, who graciously honored my request to finally put a face with the voice of someone who had been such an important part of my journey. That simple act of showing up meant more to me than she could ever imagine. Her presence, encouragement, and genuine excitement for me truly blessed my day and made the entire experience even more memorable.
Throughout the process, Mrs. Lisa Royal was a constant source of reassurance and confidence. She always seemed to have a personal story, a word of encouragement, or a little wisdom to share whenever my nerves started getting the best of me. She was never too busy to explain each and every page of my loan disclosures, walk me through the numbers, or make sure I understood exactly what I was agreeing to. She even shared my frustration with the homeowners insurance process, which made me appreciate her honesty and relatability even more! Sometimes, just knowing someone understands your concerns makes all the difference.
What stood out most was that I never felt like just another loan application. I felt like a person whose dreams, concerns, financial well-being, and future genuinely mattered to the people working on my behalf. That kind of care cannot be taught, and it certainly should never be taken for granted.
Looking back, I am incredibly grateful for every conversation, every explanation, every encouraging word, and every effort made behind the scenes to help me reach this milestone.
Today, I am proud to say that I AM A HOMEOWNER ! 🏡❤️ And I will forever be thankful to the wonderful ladies at New American Funding who helped make that possible.
