Don’t prepare for your BEST day of AEP. Prepare for your 30th. 🔥

It’s easy to come into AEP motivated.

The real test is maintaining that energy when the days get long and the appointments stack up.

That means your AEP prep shouldn’t only be about leads and production.

Prepare YOU, too.

⚡ Set boundaries around your schedule.

⚡ Protect time to recharge.

⚡ Build a routine you can actually sustain.

⚡ Know when you’re at your best — and protect those hours.

At Seven Figure, we’re not looking for one incredible week.

We’re building consistency that lasts the entire season. 📈

AEP is a marathon with a lot of sprints inside it.

Prepare accordingly.

AEP is NOT the time to practice your pitch. 🎯

When the appointments start stacking up, you want to be READY.

Not figuring out what to say.

Not stumbling through objections.

Not trying to find the right questions to ask.

Use your AEP prep to sharpen the conversations that matter.

✅ Practice your opening.
✅ Role-play common objections.
✅ Tighten your discovery questions.
✅ Know your follow-up.

Because confidence doesn’t magically show up when AEP gets busy.

It comes from preparation. 💪

The goal?

When opportunity shows up, you’re ready to convert it.

Your biggest AEP opportunity might already be in your CRM. 👀

Everyone talks about getting MORE leads during AEP.

But what about the people who already know you?

Your current clients.
Old prospects.
Past referrals.
People who told you, “Call me closer to AEP.”

Before spending more money finding strangers, spend some time strengthening the relationships you already have. 📲

Ask yourself:

→ Who haven’t I talked to lately?

→ Who needs a review?

→ Who should I ask for a referral?

→ Who needs to hear from me BEFORE AEP?

At Seven Figure, we believe growth isn’t always about adding more.

Sometimes it’s about doing more with what you’ve already built. 📈

Challenge for today:

Open your CRM and reconnect with 10 people.

You might be surprised where your next opportunity comes from.

The decisions you make BEFORE AEP may matter more than the ones you make during it. 🧠

Think about how many decisions an agent makes on a busy day.

Who do I call next?

Which leads need follow-up?

Where does this appointment fit?

What happens with this client?

What should my team handle?

What should I be working on right now?

One decision isn't exhausting.

Hundreds of little decisions are.

And when AEP gets busy, the last thing you need is to spend valuable time figuring out things you could have decided weeks earlier.

That's why preparation isn't just about having a goal.

It's about creating a PLAN for how you'll operate. 🎯

Before the volume picks up, decide:

→ What does your ideal AEP day look like?

→ When are you taking appointments?

→ When does follow-up happen?

→ Which leads get prioritized?

→ What does your team own?

→ What gets automated?

→ What numbers are you reviewing every week? 📊

→ What are you saying NO to until AEP is over?

That last one is important.

Because sometimes growth isn't about adding another strategy.

It's about removing distractions.

This is something we believe strongly in with the Seven Figure framework:

Clarity creates speed.

When your priorities are clear, you don't have to wake up every morning and reinvent the plan.

You EXECUTE. ⚡

Your calendar already knows what matters.

Your team knows their responsibilities.

Your follow-up has a process.

Your numbers tell you where you stand.

And your attention stays on the activities that actually move the business forward.

That's the kind of preparation that can completely change how AEP feels.

Not:

“Let's see what happens.”

But:

“We already know what we're doing.”

So here's a good exercise for this week:

Write down 5 decisions you don't want to be making in the middle of AEP.

Then make them NOW. ✅

Your goal isn't simply to become busier this AEP.

It's to become more intentional with the opportunity in front of you.

A full calendar doesn’t mean you’re growing. 📅

You can have appointments all day.

Emails piling up. 📩

A phone that never stops ringing. 📲

A team constantly asking questions.

And a to-do list that somehow gets LONGER every time you finish something.

From the outside?

You look busy.

Maybe even successful.

But here’s the question I want you to ask:

Is all of that activity actually building a better business? 🤔

Because there’s a huge difference between being busy inside your agency…

and intentionally building your agency. 📈

I see this happen with insurance agents all the time.

They work harder.

Take more appointments.

Chase more leads.

Add another marketing strategy.

Stay later.

Start earlier.

And eventually wonder why growth still feels so difficult.

Sometimes the answer isn’t MORE.

It’s FOCUS. 🎯

That’s a big part of how we think about growth inside the Seven Figure framework.

You need to know:

→ Where is the business actually going?

→ What numbers matter most? 📊

→ Which activities are creating revenue?

→ Where are prospects falling out of your pipeline?

→ What systems are slowing you down?

→ What should your team own instead of you?

→ What needs to happen THIS WEEK to move the business forward?

Because when everything is a priority…

nothing is a priority.

And if you’re heading into AEP, this matters even more.

AEP will give you plenty to do.

The opportunity is making sure all that activity is moving you toward the agency you actually want to build.

So before adding another thing to your calendar this week, ask yourself:

Does this move the business forward… or does it just keep me busy?

Those are two very different things.

The goal isn’t to survive AEP.

The goal is to build your agency so you can GROW during AEP.

There’s a big difference.

Every year, agents spend months thinking about how much business they want to write.

More applications.
More appointments.
More leads.
More production.

But here’s the question I’d be asking right now:

If all of that business showed up tomorrow, could your current operation actually handle it?

That’s where AEP preparation needs to begin.

Not with your production goal.

With your capacity.

Look at your business today:

→ Is your calendar structured for high-volume weeks?

→ Do you have a consistent process for new leads?

→ Is your follow-up system ready?

→ Are your current clients being contacted and organized?

→ Does your team know exactly what happens when volume increases?

→ Are you spending time on things that could be automated or delegated?

→ Do you know the numbers you need to hit each week?

This is one of the principles we focus on with the Seven Figure framework:

Growth without systems creates chaos.

And AEP has a way of exposing every weak system in your business.

The follow-up you never fixed.

The database you never cleaned up.

The process that only exists in your head.

The tasks you should have delegated six months ago.

When volume increases, those little problems become BIG problems.

So use your AEP prep differently this year.

Don’t just ask:

“How much do I want to produce?”

Ask:

“What does my business need to look like to support that level of production?”

Then build it now.

Tighten the process.
Clean up the pipeline.
Prepare the marketing.
Organize the book.
Train the team.
Protect the calendar.

Because a successful AEP isn’t just about creating more opportunity.

It’s about being prepared enough to capitalize on the opportunity when it arrives.

Build the capacity first.

Then go fill it.
