September is Su***de Prevention Month. ❤️
BCCF and The Black Love Hub remind our community that asking for help is a sign of strength. Your life matters, your feelings matter, and your story isn’t over.

If you or someone you know is experiencing emotional distress or a mental health crisis, call or text 988 to connect with the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. Support is free, confidential, and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Let’s continue checking on one another, listening without judgment, and reminding people that they are never alone.

Hope. Help. Healing.

We gathered in sisterhood, creativity, and laughter to turn mannequin heads into living planters. Today’s Sister Circle was all about connection — sharing stories, and making beautiful upcycled art together. Each planter is a unique expression of the creativity and care in this room.
Huge thanks to everyone who joined, to our facilitators, and to Building Constructive Communities Foundation for hosting a space where art, sisterhood and community can grow.

🖤💚❤️ July is BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month. ❤️💚🖤

Our mental health matters. Healing is not a weakness—it is an act of courage, self-love, and resilience. As Black communities continue to navigate unique challenges, let us normalize seeking support, checking in with one another, and prioritizing our emotional well-being.

Together, we can break the stigma, build stronger communities, and create spaces where healing is possible for everyone.

✨ You deserve peace. You deserve healing. You deserve to thrive.

With love,

This month, Building Constructive Communities Foundation (BCCF) and The Black Love Hub are encouraging men to make their health a priority—not just for themselves, but for the families, friends, and communities that depend on them.

Too often, men are taught to push through pain, carry burdens alone, and ignore the warning signs of stress, depression, anxiety, and physical illness. This month, we challenge that narrative.

✅ Schedule your annual check-up
✅ Prioritize your mental health
✅ Get active and move your body
✅ Build meaningful connections
✅ Talk to someone you trust
✅ Take time to rest, heal, and grow

Remember: Taking care of yourself is not selfish—it is necessary.

When men are healthy, families are stronger. When families are stronger, communities thrive.

Let’s continue breaking the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and wellness by creating spaces where men can be seen, heard, supported, and empowered.

Your Health. Your Purpose. Your Legacy.
