🎉 Happy Birthday to Ike! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating one of our amazing team members, Ike Andrews! We hope your day is filled with great food, time with loved ones, and plenty of reasons to smile.

Ike has been in the insurance industry for nearly five years and has been a licensed agent since 2022. For the past three years, he’s been helping clients as part of the Sumser Insurance Professionals family.

Originally born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ike grew up in Midlothian, Virginia. He also spent time in Newport News during college and later lived in Williamsburg before returning home.

This has been an exciting year for Ike—he married his wife, Meghan, on June 27, 2026! ❤️

When he’s not helping clients, you’ll likely find Ike outdoors hunting, fishing, golfing, or enjoying time on the water or in the woods. He has a true passion for nature and wildlife.

He’s also a proud pet owner to two dogs, Mossy and Buddie, a crested gecko named Chubbs, and four chickens: Chunker, Runt, Gertie, and Blaze!

When it comes to birthdays, Ike prefers keeping things simple—sharing a great meal and making memories with family and friends. His favorite foods are sushi and Mexican cuisine, and when he’s not outside, he’s always up for trying a new local restaurant.

We're excited to officially welcome Quin Gegwich to the Sumser family—and we're even more excited to celebrate his birthday! 🥳

Here's a little about Quin:
🌎 He's called Long Island, New York, Melbourne, Australia, and now Richmond, Virginia home.
🌮 His favorite local spot is La Playa Mexican Restaurant.
🍳 He loves cooking, checking out local breweries with friends, and staying active at the gym.
🐶 He's a proud dog dad to Stanley and Oreo.
🎲 In his free time, you'll find him playing card and board games, playing or watching just about any sport, or planning his next adventure.
✈️ His favorite vacation destination is New Zealand, and he hopes to return someday. If he weren't working in insurance, he'd be traveling the world!

Today we're celebrating 9 amazing years with Jenna and the impact she continues to make at Sumser Insurance Professionals!

Jenna began her insurance career in 2012 and joined the Sumser team in 2017. As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, she's passionate about helping clients protect what matters most and takes pride in being the kind of agent who recommends what people truly need—nothing more, nothing less.

A few things you may not know about Jenna:
🌞 She enjoys taking walks in the sunshine.
🎮 She loves playing video games.
🪴 She's the proud caretaker of a massive collection of potted plants.

We're excited to welcome Wyatt to the Sumser Insurance Professionals team this summer!

🎓 School & Major: Appalachian State University — Finance & Banking

💡 Why Insurance? Wyatt was drawn to the insurance industry because of its impact on people's lives and the opportunities it provides for growth, problem-solving, and building meaningful relationships.

📈 What He's Hoping to Gain: This summer, Wyatt is focused on strengthening his communication skills, applying his business knowledge in a real-world setting, and learning more about the insurance industry and successful business operations.

🎯 Future Career Goals: After graduation, Wyatt hopes to pursue a career in project management, operations, or business improvement within the financial services industry.

🌄 Outside the Office: You'll find him lifting weights before sunrise, hiking with friends, writing music, and spending time with family and friends.

🤝 Campus Involvement: Wyatt has helped students launch and grow university clubs and will serve as President of Appalachian State's Finance Student Association this upcoming year.

🐾 Fun Fact: He's a huge dog lover—especially Bernese Mountain Dogs!
