🎉 HAPPY WORK ANNIVERSARY, SHANE & LISSA BADON! 🎉

One year of growth, new beginnings, and making a difference! ❤️ Today, we're celebrating Shane and Lissa Badon's first anniversary with Sumser Insurance Professionals!

Shane, our Principal Agent, brings 19 years of insurance experience and a passion for helping people protect their families and belongings. Lissa, our Marketing Manager, brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a love for meeting new people, making insurance fun, and supporting our community.

Together, they make an incredible team both at work and at home! ❤️ Proud parents to Eli and Quinn, the Badons love spending time together, whether it's enjoying their favorite vacation spot, Kiawah Island, cheering on the kids at baseball, softball, and cheer, or simply making family memories.

Outside the office, Shane enjoys tennis, golf, and woodworking, while Lissa spends her time coaching recreational cheer, working out, and being a baseball and softball mama. And when it comes to food, Shane is all about seafood, while Lissa loves sushi and local favorites like Oceano and Napa!

When asked what they love most about being part of Sumser, both had the same answer: THE TEAM! Shane appreciates working alongside some of the best people he's ever worked with, while Lissa loves supporting and celebrating a team that works so hard for its clients and community.

We're incredibly grateful to have Shane and Lissa as part of the Sumser family. Their dedication, passion, and commitment to serving others make a difference every day, and we're excited to see all that the future holds!

🎉 Happy Birthday, Brian Dalton! 🎂

Today we’re celebrating Brian and all that he brings to the Sumser Insurance Professionals team! Brian has been in the insurance industry for about 9 months—all right here at Sumser—and we’re so happy to have him on our team!

When he’s not at work, Brian enjoys playing video games, visiting breweries, and spending time with his fiancée, Olivia, and their furry crew: Lillie, Bagel, and Olive. 🐶🐱🐱

Brian has called both Virginia and Washington State home, and one of his most memorable birthdays was when Olivia flew out to Washington and they spent the day exploring the beautiful Hoh Rainforest. 🌲💚

Join us in wishing Brian a very happy birthday! We hope your day is filled with plenty of fun, laughs, and time with the people (and pets!) you love most! 🥳🎈

🎉 Happy 3rd Work Anniversary, Ike Andrews! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating 3 years of Ike Andrews at Sumser Insurance Professionals! We’re incredibly grateful for the relationships, knowledge, and energy Ike brings to our team every day.

For Ike, one of the best parts of his job is building relationships with clients and learning about their families and businesses—understanding what they’ve built, what makes them unique, and helping them make sense of insurance so they can protect what they’ve worked hard for. He also loves being part of our team and helping Sumser continue to grow.

Over the past three years, Ike has taken on more responsibility, built meaningful client relationships, and played an important role in the growth of our agency. That growth is something he’s especially proud of—and we’re proud of him, too!

And there’s plenty more to know about Ike! Outside of work, he enjoys golf, fishing, hunting, time at the family farms, boating, and pretty much anything outdoors. He and his wife, Meghan, just got married this past June! ❤️

They’re also a busy household with dogs Mossy & Buddie, crested gecko Chubbs, and some backyard chickens. 🐶🦎🐔

Fun fact: Ike was once the President of the bass fishing team at Christopher Newport University and even fished competitively in college! 🎣

When asked what he likes most about being part of the Sumser team, his answer was simple: “Definitely the people.” We couldn’t agree more. We’re lucky to have Ike as part of ours!

🎉 Cheers to 3 Years, Ashley! 🎉

Today we're celebrating Ashley and her 3-year work anniversary with Sumser Insurance Professionals! 🥳

As our Personal Lines Account Manager, Ashley loves building relationships with our clients and catching up on what's happening in their lives. Her caring personality and dedication make her an invaluable part of our team. 💙

We're also celebrating a big accomplishment—Ashley recently earned her Life Insurance License, adding another way she can help protect the people who trust us with their insurance needs! 👏

When she's not at the office, you'll find Ashley cheering on her two kids, Kierstyn and Brooks, coaching and co-directing her daughter's cheer team, spending time with her dogs Ace and Chase, reading a good book, or relaxing at her favorite place—the Outer Banks. (And if you ever need to win her over, just start talking about Harry Potter! ⚡📚)
