Who would have ever thought I’d continue to wear my therapist hat 23 years after leaving that profession to help people with home financing. The truth is that divorce happens and no one plans on that being “their” life. Considerations about dividing equity in your family home were always someone else’s issue. Being able to help my clients navigate the financing necessities that arise during this time is so fulfilling because it gives them a clearer path forward.

SB 326, otherwise known as the wooden balcony inspection law, requires an inspection to be done within condo developments to determine the structurally safety of the balconies. I get it, no one wants to go through the horrific accident of falling stories on an unsafe balcony. Similarly, most HOAs don’t want to pay 💰 the exorbitantly high price tag to fix all of the balconies structurally. So, much of this could very well fall on homeowners in the form of assessments on their property. Is there any way around this industry problem??? I’ve got 2 workarounds that may help your sellers or buyers. competitivedge
