I loved seeing so much energy and community come together — and it was a pretty great excuse to dress up and enjoy a night out.

October is already off to a pretty great start.
Had such a fun evening at opening night of the Mill Valley Film Festival, where we saw Wild Horse Nine — and I absolutely loved it.
We also had the chance to hear from members of the cast and the director before the screening, which made the evening even more special.
Such a great night celebrating storytelling, creativity, and one of the things I love most about living in Marin: the incredible community here.

I had the privilege of volunteering at the Special Olympics Northern California High Tech Challenge at The Olympic Club — an incredible day bringing together athletes, supporters, volunteers and the business community in support of Special Olympics.

One of the highlights was hearing Sergio Romo and Mark Ibanez share their own personal connections to Special Olympics. Their stories made an already meaningful day feel even more personal.

And yes, as a longtime Giants family, meeting Sergio was pretty special too. The 2010 Giants will forever be part of our family history. ⚾

I’m especially grateful to have spent the day alongside my New York Life colleagues during New York Life’s National Month of Service. Days like this are a good reminder that service isn’t complicated — sometimes it simply means showing up, lending a hand and being part of something bigger than yourself.

Thank you to Special Olympics Northern California, The Olympic Club, everyone behind the High Tech Challenge, and all of the athletes, families, volunteers and supporters who made today so memorable.

Today I had the opportunity to take part in Sausalito’s Make a Difference Day with the Southern Marin Fire District team.

Our group spent the morning removing flammable vegetation along a local evacuation route and pathway — work designed to reduce wildfire fuel and help slow the potential spread of fire.

What stood out just as much as the work itself was the spirit of the day. Volunteers were spread throughout Sausalito working on projects of all kinds, and the entire event was incredibly well organized and full of positive energy.

A special thank you to Lucinda Eubanks and the Make a Difference team for organizing such a meaningful day, and to Southern Marin Fire for leading our project.

September is also New York Life’s National Month of Service, so this was a particularly fitting way to spend the morning — showing up, working alongside neighbors, and helping care for the community.
