Sometimes, giving back is about so much more than the things we donate. It’s about reminding another woman that she is seen, supported, and not alone.

I had the opportunity to meet the owner of a Kendall County Women’s Shelter at a recent Boerne Chamber networking event, and after hearing about her passion and the work she does, my heart felt so aligned with her mission.

As women in our own neighborhood came together to donate clothing, I was reminded of the power of community. What may be sitting unused in our closets could be something another woman desperately needs as she takes steps toward a new beginning.

My heart will always be with women who are navigating the difficult and often dangerous journey of leaving domestic abuse. No woman should have to choose between her safety and having the basic necessities to start over.

If you have been looking for a way to give back, consider donating gently used clothing, shoes, toiletries, or other requested essentials to a local women’s shelter. Reach out first to see what they need most.

Liability covers the damage you cause to someone else’s vehicle, not your own. That’s why I don’t just sell insurance—I educate my clients so they understand what they’re giving up. 🫶
