🎉 Exciting News!

We’re excited to announce that Mason Leavitt has been promoted to AVP, Loan Officer!

We’ve loved having Mason on the MWSBF team this summer. From day one, he’s been eager to learn, willing to jump in wherever needed, and always ready to take on a new challenge. His work ethic and positive attitude have made a great impression on our team.

In his new role, Mason is looking forward to continuing to learn more about the SBA 504 loan program and helping small businesses grow and achieve their goals.

A Little About Mason:
Mason attended Northwest Nazarene University in Idaho, where he studied Business Administration and played baseball. After graduating, Mason joined MWSBF as an intern in the summer of 2026 and quickly became a valued part of the team.

Outside the Office:
When he’s not working, Mason enjoys staying active. You can find him running, hiking, playing tennis, or camping. He’s also an avid reader and movie watcher! 📚🎬

Congratulations, Mason! We’re excited to have you on the MWSBF team and can’t wait to see all that’s ahead! 👏

Yesterday, we hosted our very first Golf Invitational in Idaho Falls!

A huge thank you to all of our lending partners who joined us on the course, enjoyed some friendly competition, and purchased mulligans to support the Mountain West Foundation. Your support means so much to us!

A special shoutout to our Idaho-based Loan Officer, Matthew Morris, for helping organize and bring this event to life, and to Gem State Financial Group for sponsoring and supporting the event!

A new beginning!☕️🌻

When Elise West closed Affogato West in 2020, she wasn’t sure she’d own a coffee shop again. Thanks to Elise’s grit and an outpouring of support from friends, neighbors, volunteers, and funding partners, West Village Neighborhood Cafe is now serving the St. George community!
