Owning a home isn’t just about having a place to hang your hat—it’s one of the few things in life where your monthly payment can actually come back to you over time.

With every payment, you’re building equity (basically your ownership stake in the home), and that can grow as time goes on. It’s not an overnight thing, but little by little, it starts to add up in a meaningful way.

Kind of nice knowing your home is doing a little work for you, too.
